With cameras about to start cranking, the indie revenge thriller Message From The King is adding to its cast. End Of Watch**’s Natalie Martinez is aboard to join the likes of Chadwick Boseman, Luke Evans and Teresa Palmer.

Belgian director Fabrice Du Welz is calling the shots from Stephen Cornwell and Oliver Butcher’s script. The plot follows a man named Jacob King (Boseman), who touches down in Los Angeles from South Africa in search of his younger sister. He has only a few hundred dollars to his name and a plane ticket that means he must return home a week, but is devastated to learn that his sister has died. Burning with the need for vengeance, he tracks down the people responsible across the next six days.

Martinez, who has also been seen in the likes of Broken City and Death Race, is on to play Trish, a former neighbour of Jacob’s sister Bianca who is roped in to help track down the woman’s murderer.

The actress is currently on US screens in TV drama Secrets & Lies and will be in cinemas with Home Invasion and sci-fi thriller Self/Less, which is awaiting a confirmed UK release date.
