Naomi’s Looks Grab Role

Supermodel Naomi Campbell has talked veteran Italian director Michelangelo Antonioni into giving her a role in his next film. Antonioni, who made his name in the UK with his stylish sixties thriller Blow Up, offered Campbell a part alongside Sofia Loren in his upcoming film, Destination Verna. The director cast Naomi after a brief meeting in Rome saying he had been seduced by her beauty. Campbell then jetted down to the Taormina Film Festival in Sicily to present the film project, telling the press, "I met Michelangelo in Rome and after a quick chat he told his assistants "Great, draw her up a contract'."
