You probably weren't expecting to learn too much from the new Super Bowl TV spot teaser for 10 Cloverfield Lane, and you were right. There's no peeling of the onion's layers here, just a little more footage and a few hints. Check it out below.

The film, directed by Dan Trachtenberg, is described by producer J.J. Abrams as a "blood relative" to the 2008 Matt Reeves monster movie that all but took the world and the 'net by storm back then. The story in this one finds Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Michelle, who finds herself in a well-stocked doomsday shelter owned by a mysterious man (John Goodman). John Gallagher Jr. is also in the strengthened bunker, and they assure her that the outside world isn't safe.

But Michelle begins to wonder if she's being told the truth and hatches a plan to see for herself. From the looks (and sounds) of this, that might actually be a mistake...

10 Cloverfield Lane will be out in the US and UK on March 11. Head here for all the Super Bowl ads.
