My Spy's Chloe Coleman certainly seems to be landing a lot of good jobs – she has a rom-com starring Jennifer Lopez on the way, assassin thriller Gunpowder Milkshake wrapped up and is also part of the cast for a little movie called Avatar 2. She's also now going to be headed to a fantasy world for Dungeons & Dragons.
Paramount's film based on the incredibly popular tabletop RPG has Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Justice Smith, Bridgerton star Rege-Jean Page, Hugh Grant and Sophia Lillis in its already-stuffed cast, while Game Night directing duo Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley wrote the script and will call the shots.
The story for the film – and given the source, the possibilities are multitudinous – is being kept locked in a treasure chest, but it'll likely combine some sort of quest with lots of weird creatures. Whether it is a straight adventure or something more along the lines of Jumanji's follow-ups remains to be seen. This one should be shooting later in the year, and currently has a March 2023 release on the books.
