It's been a while since Kermit, Gonzo, Miss Piggy and the rest of the Muppets gang have been on our screens, especially since the most recent attempt to craft a show around them didn't quite pan out as hoped. But they're back next month via Disney+ and what's being described as an unscripted series called Muppets Now, which has a new trailer online.
According to the official synopsis: "Scooter rushes to make his delivery deadlines and upload the brand-new Muppet series for streaming. Turns out, the episodes are due now, and he’ll need to navigate whatever obstacles, distractions, and complications the rest of the Muppet gang throws at him."
The new trailer really just teases what we can expect from the series – especially since legal type Joe the Legal Weasel wants to keep a tight hold on what can be shown, but the likes of Seth Rogen, Ru Paul and Aubrey Plaza pop up.
Can this return the fuzzy gang to telly glory? We'll find out on 31 July.
