With TV series able to gear back up into production thanks to new pandemic safety protocols, Marvel and Disney are wasting no time in locking down deals for the next batch of MCU-based Disney+ series. Ms. Marvel is the latest show to grab behind-the-camera talent, as Bad Boys For Life duo Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah are on board to make several episodes, according to The Direct.

And The Hollywood Reporter brings word that they're not alone. Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, a two-time Oscar winner for documentary shorts and Meera Menon, who has worked on shows such as The Walking Dead, The Punisher and Outlander, and directed films Farah Goes Bang and Equity, will also bring their skills to the series.

Bisha K. Ali, the comedian who is also part of the writing team for Netflix's Sex Education, is the head writer on the series, which chronicles the Pakistani-American teen Kamala Khan introduced in the comics in 2012, exploring her identity as a Pakistani-American living in a religious family in New Jersey whilst trying to find her own way as a superhero with body-morphing powers. She broke ground as Marvel's first Muslim character to star in her own title, and she will become Marvel Studios' first onscreen Muslim hero, with studio boss Kevin Feige already on the record as saying she's a character who will make the leap to cinema screens after her TV introduction.

With She-Hulk scoring both a director and a star, things really are moving forward on the next phase of the shows. We can surely expect to learn who has been cast as Kamala Khan before too long.
