Mr Burnout, the tale of a depressed, downbeat English teacher who finds his love of teaching again thanks to a bet that he can get his three worst students into college, has found a director in Paul Dinello.
He has a little experience with school films having directed the Strangers With Candy movie based on the cult US TV comedy about a junkie 40-year-old who goes back to education.
Eric Gravning wrote the script, and while there’s no cast attached, the plan is to shoot the movie in January in the US.
