With his most recent foray into TV (US college drama The Bedford Diaries) dead in the water, Matthew Modine finds himself with plenty of time to devote to movies.
He and Lara Flynn Boyle have just started working on writer-director Brad Isaacs’ A West Texas Children’s Story. It’s a ‘60s-set tale of two 12-year-olds (Charlie And The Chocolate Factory’s Anna Sophia Robb and Shark Boy And Lava Girl’s Cayden Boyd) setting off on a quest to find better parents and get more fun for childhood.
The movie’s cranking its cameras now in New Mexico.
