Chick Lit, the literary phenomenon inspired by Bridget Jones's Diary has yet another film heading for cinemas near you. While last minute tinkering goes on with the Bridget sequel, British director Anthony Minghella has signed up another book which he hopes will reprise Bridget's big screen success. Mingella's production company Mirage, which he runs with Sydney Pollack, have optioned the rights to Cheet by Anna Davis - a story about a female London taxi driver Kathryn Cheet and her problems with juggling five boyfriends. According to Variety, the hopes are that Cheet will be a return to Mirage's early female-friendly success of Sliding Doors.
