If you think you’ve ever had problems with an unsettled stomach – a touch of wind, perhaps or some cramps from bad seafood – spare a thought for poor old Milo hero Ken, played in the new comedy by Ken Marino. He’s got more than a bit of an upset stomach: he’s got a demon living in there. The first poster for the under-the-radar film has arrived via the Hollywood Reporter.

Milo finds Marino’s main man already weighed down with life issues. On the suggestion of his wife (Community’s Gillian Jacobs), Ken seeks out the help of a psychiatrist. During one of his sessions, he and his shrink figure out that he’s got a tiny little demon living in his stomach.

Things go from bad to worse when the creature gets loose and goes on a murderous rampage, with Ken the only man who can placate it.

Jacob Vaughn co-wrote the script with Benjamin Hayes and, with the help of Mark and Jay Duplass, who came aboard as executive producers, he’s rounded up a great cast to support the two leads, including Peter Stomare, Stephen Root, Patrick Warburton and Toby Huss. And Vaughn co-designed the poster with artist Mark Landry, who you won’t be surprised to learn is a disciple of poster icon Drew Struzan.

The film will debut at the SXSW festival in March.
