Released last year, Enola Holmes was a fun, Sherlock-adjacent mystery romp starring Millie Bobby Brown as the great detective's smarter sister. Netflix is clearly happy with the viewing figures, as Brown and Henry Cavill (as her brother) will be back for the sequel.
Writer Jack Thorne and director Harry Bradbeer are also returning for the new film, which is again based on Nancy Springer's Enola Holmes book series.
"I can’t wait to collaborate again with my Enola Holmes family,” Brown says. “Enola holds a special place in my heart — she’s strong, fearless, intelligent and brave. I look forward to fans seeing how her journey continues!" No plot details were revealed, but we'd expect crime, cunning and mystery, though not necessarily in that order.
