It’s always nice to see younger actors who usually put in solid performances finding more work, so we’re heartened to see that Footloose**’s Miles Teller and Damsels In Distress actress Analeigh Tipton are set to star together. They’re on to play the leads in romantic comedy Two Night Stand.
Mark Hammer’s script, which is another graduate of the Black List, finds a pair hooking up for one regrettable night of passion. But then a massive blizzard hits and they’re trapped in an apartment together waiting out the storm. Awkwardness turns to discussion and, we’d guess, bonding.
Max Nichols, who has hitherto made ads and music videos, is making his film directing debut with the movie, which is being produced by Zombieland / Gangster Squad director Ruben Fleischer.
Teller, who got his big break in Rabbit Hole, went on to steal scenes in Footloose and cropped up as a version of himself in **Project **X. He’s next set to appear in Get A Job and 21 And Over and is at work on indie comedy drama The Spectacular Now. Tipton began her career on America’s Next Top Model and moved from there to Crazy, Stupid, Love and Damsels. She mostly recently filmed zombie romance Warm Bodies, which will arrive next year.
