Aardvarks, eh? Not content with sneaking to the front of the dictionary, now they're getting an animated movie. In this case, the leading voice for The Ark And The Aardvark will be Miles Teller.
The movie, as you might be able to suss out from the title, is a take on the Noah's Ark story, which finds an aardvark named Gilbert helping a group of misfit animals through natural disasters and personal problems.
Kung Fu Panda director John Stevenson is at work on the film for indie company Unified Pictures, and seems happy with his choice of voice. “Gilbert is young, spirited, sarcastic, and we couldn’t have found a more perfect artist to bring Gilbert to life in Miles,” says Stevenson in a statement carried by The Hollywood Reporter.
Teller has boxing biopic Bleed For This headed to UK screens on 2 December and will also be seen in PTSD drama Thank You For Your Service.
