While she has a couple of small film credits to her name (including “Woman Jogger Yelling at Sydney” in I Love You, Man), Melissa Rauch is best known for playing Bernadette on The Big Bang Theory. But now she’s scored a big screen job that could really help boost her cinematic profile, signing on to Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner’s film You Are Here.

The man behind Don Draper has written the script for the movie and will make his film directing career with the tale of a weatherman (Owen Wilson) confronting his father’s death. It leads him and his best friend (Zach Galifianakis) out on a journey to cement their friendship. Amy Poehler is also aboard to play Galifianakis’ sister.

Rauch will play an “over-coiffed and over-dressed call girl” according to The Hollywood Reporter, joining a cast that also includes Laura Ramsey, Joel Gretsch, Paul Schulze and Lauren Lapkus.

With the majority of his cast now in place, Weiner is scheduled to start shooting this month in North Carolina.
