Actress Melanie Griffiths is taking the Hollywood thirst for publicity to its logical extreme and publishing an online diary as she goes through rehab. Less than 24 hours after news broke that Griffiths was undergoing treatment for addiction to a prescription drug, the first excerpt from her diary appeared on the actress's official website. 'Today is a good day! I am so happy and grateful to be clean, sober, and off pain medication,' is one of the messages posted on the site. 'I can't thank all beautiful (sic) people enough for being so supportive with their messages. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Please know that what you read here is my truth. Please don't believe the alternative garbage.'
