New Line has found a Mary to star in its Nativity - and it’s not any old six-year-old from the local primary school. Nope, the company has plumped for Oscar-nominated Whale Rider star Keisha Castle-Hughes.
Lords Of Dogtown's Catherine Hardwicke is directing the already-announced film that follows Mary and Joseph’s life for the two years before the birth of Christ. Mike Rich wrote the script, in which we expect a complete lack of jokes about gold, Frankenstein and Myrrh. The film is being fast-tracked for release in December.
