With the cameras now rolling around the world (South Africa so far; London, Italy and even South Korea planned) we’re naturally excited to see what Joss Whedon and the Avengers crew is cooking up for Age Of Ultron. Disney and Marvel understand the demand for early peeks at such things and is offering a look at the film during a TV special set to air in March.
According to Entertainment Weekly, US TV network ABC (the Disney-owned home of Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. show) will broadcast Marvel Studios: Assembling A Universe on March 18. We’re promised a look at Age Of Ultron, plus glimpses at other Marvel Cinematic Universe films including **Captain America: The Winter Soldier **and Guardians Of The Galaxy (so even if we have that darned song out of our heads by then, it will soon be back in).
And, yes, because it would be crazy not to, the special will also pimp Agents Of S.H.I.E.LD, with footage from future episodes. It’s definitely a boost the show could use.
As for when the special might air on UK channels, Disney or otherwise, no news has been forthcoming as of yet. But given the films’ international reach, hopefully it will make it over soon enough. Avengers: Age Of Ultron, meanwhile, arrives here on May 1, 2015.
