Finn Jones is in place as Danny Rand; Jessica Henwick and David Wenham are also in the cast; Scott Buck is exec-producing and running the show; and now Marvel / Netflix's Iron Fist has two more names for the roster. The Following's Jessica Stroup and Banshee's Tom Pelphrey have signed up to play Joy and Ward Meachum, completing the series' central line-up.

The Meachum siblings run Rand Enterprises, having built it up from practically nothing into a global concern. But when Rand himself returns to claim his birthright, the future of their hard-won achievement is thrown into question.

"With the terrific addition of the very talented Jessica and Tom, we’ve now brought the entire Meachum family together," says Executive Producer/Head of Marvel Television Jeph Loeb. "While Marvel couldn’t be happier, Danny's mission just got a lot more complicated."

"I’m very happy to have Jessica and Tom as our Joy and Ward Meachum," says Buck. "Much like Danny Rand’s past is a mystery to us, we’ll discover along the way that the Meachum children have intriguing secrets of their own..."

Iron Fist dates back to the Bruce Lee-obsessed days of the early ‘70s. To borrow from Black Dynamite, it combines “scientific biological transmogrification” (he got a superfist by placing his hand in a molten dragon's heart) with “kung-fu treachery” (his parents’ business partner Harold Meachum caused both their deaths when Rand was a nipper). Wenham is playing Harold. Expect Rand to start out with revenge in mind before new adversaries spring up around him.

Iron Fist will be shooting this year but has yet to announce a date for its Netflix debut. Luke Cage is scheduled for September 30. Jessica Jones and two seasons of Daredevil are, of course, available right now.
