Amidst all the Thor/Carol Danvers shipping, suit chatter and general hullabaloo around the latest Avengers: Endgame trailer, there was another big buzz going around social media – where the hell was Danai Gurira's name on the new poster for the movie? Thirteen people are shown on the image dropped around the same time as the Endgame trailer, but only 12 were named – with Gurira's credit weirdly missing. Marvel has now corrected the error, and the result is below.
It was somehow confounding as to how Gurira's name could have been left off when everyone – even Bradley Cooper, who only provides the voice of Rocket – made it on (yes, yes, we know – big star, Oscar nominee etc, etc, but come on!). Naturally, there was an outcry, resulting in a swift, positive outcome from the MCU's overlords and Disney. Which is smart, since no one should mess with Okoye if they want to make it out alive.
Of course, with that sorted, now the big question is... What the heck is Thor looking at? Is he haunted by the image of naked Hulk from Ragnarok? Did he hear a noise? See a butterfly? Hopefully, among its many revelations and stories, Endgame will answer that.
Avengers: Endgame finally arrives on 25 April.
