Martine’s Big Screen Toilet Date

British soap star Martine McCutcheon's been been giving away the plot of her new movie Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, which stars Gangster No 1's Paul Bettany and Chris Penn, best known for his role as Nice Guy Eddie in Reservoir Dogs. Martine explained to Empire Online how their characters come to meet. 'He has to be looked after by this guy who is basically on the run from some very dangerous people. The guy takes Chris to this club where he meets this girl and falls in love with her... that's me! My character's called Mia and she's very different, she's very eccentric - she loves anything different. They end up kissing in the men's toilets and lots of other stuff.' Film work is just one of many fields the ex-soap star has played with, but she expects the UK press to give her a hard time over it. 'All the snobby papers are having a hard time dealing with it,' Martine told us. 'They're sort of like you know, "Ooh we can't believe she's doing this you know she was supposed to be a soap star and maybe a pop celebrity for a while and that's that and now she's working with what we consider to be credible people". You know I'm glad, I'm glad I'm breaking the mould.'
