Would you want Mark Strong crawling about inside your memories? We suppose it depends if he’s wiped his shoes first. And if he’s being EEEVIL. Thankfully, we don’t have to worry about it, but Taissa Farmiga might, as the pair have signed on for a new thriller project called Mindscape.
Unknown director Jaume Collet-Serra is backing the project under the aegis of his Ombra Films company. But because he’s a busy man already, he won’t be calling the shots himself, leaving that job up to ads man Jorge Dorado.
Strong, Farmiga and Brian Cox will take part in a tale about a man (presumably Strong, though it’s not made clear) who can indeed wander around noggins from the inside. He takes the case of a brilliant but troubled girl who has been involved in a major trauma. He has to find out if she’s a victim or a sociopath responsible for what happened. Sounds a bit like The Cell to us, but probably with less bizarre costumes.
Dorado is shooting the film starting this week in France, Barcelona and Canada. Strong will next be seen in Zero Dark Thirty and Closer To The Moon. Farmiga is cropping up in The Bling Ring and Cox is playing Matt Busby in Theatre Of Dreams.
