Mark Palansky, director of the light 'n' fluffy Penelope, is set to take a rather different tack with his next film, signing up for an action-adventure called Iron Jack that, to the best of our knowledge, contains not a single pig-faced girl.
Instead, this will focus on a succesful novelist in the 1930s who goes on a quest for a legendary treasure. We know, we know: you're all thinking that this sounds suspiciously Indiana Jones, but it's clearly a novelist not an archaeologist so it'll be totally different.
Up-and-coming screenwriter Johnny Rosenthal wrote the script, which started something of a bidding war, so let's hope that this lives up to that hype.
