There are not many 44-year-old women who would gladly sign up to play a stripper, but, as anyone who's seen Before The Devil Knows You're Dead Will Know, Marisa Tomei is in quite spectacular shape.
She'll play the female lead in Darren Aronofsky's The Wrestler. Mickey Rourke plays a wrestler who hangs up his tighty-brighties after a heart attack and moves in with his stripper girlfriend (Tomei) and her son. He's then tempted out of retirement to face his old nemesis. The film is currently shooting in New York and New Jersey.
Is it really '80s of us to think that the team up of Rourke and Tomei, who's becoming a much more interesting actress as she gets older, is quite exciting?
