Margot Robbie is capitalising on her current star power and positive buzz by setting up a variety of projects. The latest? A book adaptation called Bad Monkeys.

Universal has nabbed the rights to the 2008 book by Matt Ruff, which follows a woman named Jane Charlotte who finds herself hauled in on a murder charge. But she then explains that she's actually part of a secret organisation that fights evil, known as the Department for the Final Disposition of Irredeemable Persons, or the Bad Monkeys that give the tome its title. The mystery is in whether she's lying, is delusional or might actually be telling the truth.

Robbie is also producing this one via her LuckyChap Entertainment company, alongside Dylan Clark, who brought us the current Planet Of The Apes films, so he's sticking with a simian theme.

Currently on our screens in The Legend Of Tarzan, Robbie will next be seen in Suicide Squad (due August 5), which has already been spurring talk of a spin-off for her Harley Quinn character, an idea that Robbie herself has been driving and may produce if it happens.
