There's been a lot of speculation on whether Bruce Willis will actually commit to making Die Hard 4 - back in November, the Hollywood Reporter had the deal almost signed and sealed. But this week the vested one told an interviewer that it's all down to the script. 'I could just do Die Hards for the rest of my life and simply play that character, and I'd probably make an okay living,' Willis told E!Online. 'But as much as my job is to be entertaining, I also need to keep myself interested in the work. And for a long time, I haven't been interested in making a Bruce Willis action movie. That would bore me, and I think the audience would be bored, too.' Having dashed fans' hopes thus far, Willis does throw the Die Hard makers a bone, saying; 'Fox certainly wants it to happen, but I think they have a tough job ahead of them. Because within the genre of the three Die Hard films that have already been done, it has always been about terrorism. And to do a film about terrorism right now doesn't seem like a very good idea. It's up to them. I told them I'd be more than happy to do another one if they can get the script organized. But it would have to be a really great story like the first Die Hard.' Instead, the extremely patriotic Willis is keen on doing as many military movies as he can cram into his schedule. 'I could make another 10 or 20 movies about guys in the armed forces,' he tells the interviewer, 'That's how interesting and inspiring they are to me.' And lest anyone think that as the father of three girls Willis has been turned into a big girl's blouse himself, the actor has words of caution for anyone thinking of dating his eldest, who turns 15 this year. 'I think (basketball star) Charles Barkley has a good idea. He said, "I'll just kill the first one and hope the word gets out."'
