The cast for the next Indiana Jones film is really starting to come together, and they've been winners so far. Following on from word that Phoebe Waller-Bridge will join veteran star Harrison Ford is news that Mads Mikkelsen is also aboard.
James Mangold is in the director's chair for the film, with Steven Spielberg, the man who has overseen all the previous Indy adventures, stepping back to executive produce (though he'll still be very involved). Jonathan Kasdan and David Koepp worked on the script, while score maestro John Williams is composing the music.
The story is – surprise! – under wraps, and we also don't yet know what role Mikkelsen will play. Our guess is a villainous one given his big film history, but wouldn't it also be fun to see him assisting Ford? This marks the latest franchise film for the Danish actor, who has graced the likes of Bond, Star Wars and, more recently, the Wizarding World, as he's taking over the Grindelwald role from Johnny Depp.
