Luke Evans has form for playing baddies — Fast & Furious 6’s driven Owen Shaw, Beauty and the Beast’s preening Gaston, The Girl on the Train’s toxic Scott. And while his next character, the unassuming Lewis in 10x10, looks perfectly ordinary, he’s hiding a dark secret.
That secret is Kelly Reilly’s Cathy, a florist who Lewis has locked up in a 10 x 10 foot padded cell in his house after a brazen daylight kidnapping in Atlanta. He’s fuelled by vengeance, and Cathy has answers that he hopes will help him get revenge — but will she reveal what she knows, and can she get the upper hand against her captor? It’s a set-up that promises claustrophobic thrills and tense character-driven stand-offs — and we have an exclusive look at the first poster below.
10x10 is the feature debut from director Suzi Ewing, with a script written by British powerhouse Noel Clarke. There’s no trailer for the film yet, but there's not long to wait until the secrets start to spill out — it's due out in the US on 13 April, with a UK release date to be confirmed.
