He's no longer The Crow, but Luke Evans has another dark action film on his personal horizon. Evans, Alfred Molina and Teresa Palmer all look set to join star Chadwick Boseman in **A Message From The King{ =nofollow}. Fabrice Du Welz (The Ordeal) will direct.

The story involves a man named Jacob King, who touches down in Los Angeles from South Africa in search of his younger sister. He has only a few hundred dollars to his name and a plane ticket that means he must return home a week, but is devastated to learn that his sister has died. Less than pleased by the news, he begins a rampage through the Los Angeles underworld to avenge her and rescue her stepson.

Evans' role is that of a dodgy cosmetic dentist who provides Boseman with illegal services to help him on his mission. Palmer's is a hooker with a drug habit and a young daughter, and Molina will play a Hollywood producer with criminal connections. Tsk, movies eh?Obviously there are none of those in real life.

Boseman is also a producer for the film, which starts shooting in March before its star slips into his Black Panther togs for Captain America: Civil War and the start of his five-film mission with Marvel.
