It's all very well to embrace your heroic side and try to clean up the streets of Harlem, but what happens when the demand becomes too great? That's a dilemma faced by Luke Cage (Mike Colter) in a new clip from the second season of his show.
Luke is going full bore on his mission to wipe out crime in his beloved borough, ever more confident as he battles baddies and takes advantage of a little guerrilla marketing to get his message out.
But with his newfound vigor comes new challenges, and a scary new villain (Mustafa Shakir as Bushmaster) who can not only take on the seemingly invulnerable Luke, but beat and bloody him. And what will that do to his attitude? Fortunately, he'll have help from no-nonsense Misty Knight (Simone Missick), Claire Temple (Rosario Dawson) and Bobby Fish (Ron Cephas Jones).
Luke Cage is back on Netflix on 22 June. There's a feature on the new season in the latest Empire and you can read plenty more about the return of Luke in the first issue of Pilot TV, a new magazine from the team. Pick up a copy on shelves now, or order one online here{
