Last month saw one exciting new trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi arrive on the internet – and now with less than two months away from release, we've been treated to a new teaser. It's only 45 seconds long, but there's enough exciting new stuff to get us chomping at the bit for more. Take a look.

Among the new footage, there's that spine-tingling shot of Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) stepping back onto the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon, and Rey (Daisy Ridley) standing over Luke, lightsaber drawn, in a manner that suggests they'll have a showdown. "This is not going to go the way you think," says Luke, presumably speaking as much to the audience as he is whichever character he's speaking to (which may not be Rey, despite how the trailer appears to be edited).

Rian Johnson is directing Episode VIII of the space saga, picking up the story from The Force Awakens, with Luke and Rey training on Acht-To, while Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) chooses his path of revenge.

John Boyega's Finn will be back in action, alongside some old faces and new (including Kelly Marie Tran's Rose), and there promises to be all the spectacle you might expect from a Star Wars entry. Star Wars: The Last Jedi is out on 14 December.
