She’s So Lucky

Teen popstar Britney Spears will make her film debut this year. The Untitled Britney Spears Project is about three high school students who used to be best friends, but have drifted into different lives. One is a cheerleader, one is a dropout and one, to be played by Britney, is a goody goody, straight-A student. The trio travel across America and, after meeting a musician, end up competing in a musical competition in L.A. So Spears will have ample opportunity to show off her musical talents. The film will be directed by Tamra Davis, who made Gun Crazy and Best Men, both with Drew Barrymore.
