Louis Leterrier – the man who puts the action into the likes of The Transporter 2 has been signed by Marvel to direct Hulk sequel/remake/reboot/whatever The Incredible Hulk.
Marvel’s Avi Arad and Kevin Feige apparently met with Leterrier two years ago and found him to be a raving Marvel fan. And when they approached him more recently the float the new Hulk idea, he immediately had an artist bash out storyboards for two action scenes, and worked up a fresh take on the green beastie. Swot.
"His movies have humour and character depth set against fantastic action, and these aspects will be explored to the fullest extent in Hulk, " said Feige. Well, they have humour and fantastic action, at least.
Zak Penn – who co-wrote X-Men: The Last Stand – is hard at work on the script, and the producers are about to kick off casting.
