Now that Episode One has been and gone the film world has filled the gap left in their lives by focusing on Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Rings. Following FilmUnlimited's scoop on Friday that newly-weds Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman have signed up for cameos in the first film of the upcoming Lord of the Rings trilogy, fans in the States have been going crazy all weekend trying to get confirmation of this. Finally OneRingNet appears to have come up with the goods when Disney honcho Michael Deluca confirmed by email to an avid fan that he was talking to Uma about playing Eowyn, described as the beautiful, golden-haired niece of King Theoden of Rohan. Deluca also said he had approached Cate Blanchett to play Galadriel one of the Elf Queens.
