At the fourth annual LA Independent Film Festival, at which all awards are determined by audience vote, Broken Vessels, directed by Scott Ziehl, won the Best Feature Award. Rory Kelly won the Best Director prize for Some Girls, while the Best Short Film award went to the snappily titled Mad Boy, I'll Blow Your Blues Away... Be Mine, directed by Adam Collis. As ever, the winners received real-world help, in the form of Kodak film stock, CFI film processing packages and optical equipment.
