The world and his wife were queuing along New Oxford Street this afternoon (6 July 2002) as they waited patiently for an audience with Saruman The White himself, on site signing autographs at Forbidden Planet. The Lord of The Rings: The Fellowship of The Ring is out to buy today and Christopher Lee was on hand to sign copies for those willing to brave the crush of fans as they jostled for a look at the man himself. The response to Lee's presence was massive and, queue-jumpers that we are, Empire Online pushed past the masses and snapped off a few quick pics of the evil sorcerer chatting with his public - and gained a few black looks from those in their second hour of waiting.
