Robert Zemeckis already has Brad Pitt, Marion Cotillard and Jared Harris lined up to star in his new spy thriller. He's now adding some further able support with the hiring of Lizzy Caplan.
Written by Steven Knight, the film is still being called "untitled" by Deadline, although the IMDb has it as Five Seconds Of Silence. Whatever, it's a period thriller that will find Pitt and Cotillard as assassins who fall in love while working a mission to take out a German official. They end up getting hitched, but a spanner is thrown in their happiness when Pitt learns that his missus is actually a double agent for the Nazis and his next job will be to kill her. Caplan, according to Deadline's sources, will play Pitt's sister.
Caplan is probably best known at this point for Masters Of Sex, the TV series in which she co-stars with Michael Sheen, currently heading into its fourth season. We'll next see her in Now You See Me 2, when it's released in the UK on July 8. Five Seconds Of Silence / Untitled is shooting as we speak for a release in November.
