We may not know that much about the plot of the film yet, but the sequel to last year’s heist romp Now You See Me is certainly gathering an interesting cast. With Daniel Radcliffe already linked with the movie, apparently as the son of Michael Caine's character from last time, today comes word that Lizzy Caplan is in talks for a role.

G.I. Joe: Retaliation director Jon M. Chu is behind the camera for the film, which looks set to reunite the illusionists played by Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson and Dave Franco for another go-around, this time with a script by Pete Chiarelli and the writer of the original, Ed Solomon. Isla Fisher apparently won't be back due to pregnancy, but Mark Ruffalo is expected to return to his role once more.

Now You See Me found the team of four performers pulling off elaborate heists and falling under suspicion of the FBI. However the sequel’s story unfolds, it’ll have to deal with the somewhat improbable twists and turns that ended that film’s plot.

Caplan’s role in the film is still under wraps according to The Wrap, and she’ll have to figure out whether it’ll fit with her shooting schedule on TV drama Masters Of Sex. She’ll next be on our screens in The Interview, which arrives in the UK on February 6 next year. As for Now You See Me 2, that has just scored a June 10, 2016 release date in the States.
