Hot on the heels of that personal disaster for Liz comes news that she has a new rival in modelling - Uma Thurman. 30-year-old Thurman has just signed a two year contract with French cosmetics company Lancome. The decision by Lancome to employ Uma is seen by industry insiders as a clear challenge to Estee Lauder who employ 35-year-old Liz Hurley as their 'face'.
