They may have split romantically, but former super-couple Elizabeth Hurley and Hugh Grant are getting on fine as friends as business partners. Simian Films, the production company Hurley and Grant founded when they were still together, is busier than ever, with the couple recently signing another two-year producing deal with Warner Brothers and Castle Rock. Hurley hinted to Empire Online what's to come from the creative coupling: 'We've got some great stuff. Hugh's actually nearly ready to hand in a first draft of a romantic comedy that he's been working on, which I would love to be our next project.(It's) A very funny romantic comedy set in the South of France, I would love to do that. We have a lot of other stuff sort as well.I'm not in the South of France one, but there's one very nice project - actually, now that we're not romantically together, we decided we can at last do a movie together. And so there is actually one very nice project which would be for the two of us.' And does Hurley think it's easier to work with Grant now that he not her beau? 'Maybe it will be, I'm not sure. I mean for so long, we've been each other's confidants. We still are, to an enormous extent, as it happens. I would find it very difficult to accept a movie without Hugh reading a script first, and sort of putting in his say. And I still read all of his stuff. And, you know, even when it comes to choosing photographs, the one-sheet, and, you know, what TV spot am I going to take on the Today show or whatever - I have to have Hugh look at them - old habits die very, very hard, and it's difficult to, you know, move onto somebody else being somebody you can really trust. You know, people who are earning a percent of your income are not necessarily the people you trust with big decisions, so it's nice to have somebody else.'
