Liv Tyler will have to learn the art of home defence as she’s signed on to play one half of a couple terrorised by masked thugs in Rogue Pictures’ Strangers.
The plot of the previously announced thriller, which is being written and directed by Bryan Bertino, has a young pair settled into a happy home that also happens to be a little bit out of the way. Their splendid isolation goes wrong when the nasty masked types decide to attack the house.
Bertino is cranking up his cameras in the autumn, ready for the film to arrive next October. But if you can’t wait that long for a Tyler fix, she’s also appearing in Mike Binder’s post-9/11 drama Empty City, alongside Adam Sandler.
