Liv Tyler and Patrick Wilson are the latest cast members to join first-time director Matthew Chapman’s suspense thriller The Ledge.
The pair will co-star alongside Charlie Hunnam and Terence Howard in the tale of a man (Hunnam) who claims he has to jump off by noon and the police officer (Howard) trying to make sure he doesn’t become a human pancake.
The film sounds like it has a simple premise, but producer Michael Mailer feels it goes deeper: "As more and more films succumb to the visual wizardry of 3D, The Ledge explores the fourth dimension: the interior life of tortured souls hovering over the precipice of emotional nullity.” Emotional nullity sounds like the reaction we had watching Old Dogs.
Nullity or not, the film itself began shooting in Louisiana this week.
