No, she doesn’t wake up lusting for brains like some zombie; she’s at the possibly-less-than-tender mercies of mortician Liam Neeson, who assures her she’s passed on, run down the curtain and joined the choir invisible, and that he’s the only person who can see and hear her, since he has a very particular set of… We’re officially retiring the Taken joke.
Thing is, ol’ Liam could be a big, creepy liar, since Ricci’s boyfriend (Justin Long) is still convinced she’s alive and he’s trying to find out what’s really happening. Cue running down corridors, tense conversations between characters and Neeson doing everything he can to make sure Ricci stays put.
