Liam Has The Prequel Bug Again

Liam Neeson is set to star as Father Merrin, the role made famous by Max von Sydow, in the upcoming prequel to The Exorcist. The film has yet to get an official title but has been referred to as Exorcist: Dominion and Exorcist 4:1 according to different sources. The film traces the story of Merrin and his first exorcism in post-war Africa, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Despite the fact that the previous Exorcist sequels made critics spew green soup, the early buzz on this could be quite good, with John Frankenheimer (The Manchurian Candidate, Ronin) set to direct and Terminator 2 scriptwriter William Wisher creating the screenplay. No release date has been announced for the film, but it
