We already know that Liam Neeson can move when he needs to: it seems to be among the particular set of skills he employed in the Taken films. Now he’ll be putting those stalwart stalks to good use, as he’s officially signed on to star in Warner Bros.’ action pic Run All Night.
News first broke back in November that Neeson was being courted to star in the film, written by Brad Ingelsby. Now he’s set to play a mob hit man who ends up having to take on his former boss’s entire organization in one night.
Looking to protect his family, he then ends up on the run from both the annoyed mob’s retaliation and the authorities, who are after him following the killing spree. Cue a mad dash with his estranged son.
Warners also has Jaume Collet-Serra, who worked with Neeson on Unknown and is currently busy capturing him on camera for air marshal thriller** Non-Stop**, in negotiations to make it third time lucky as director. If all the deals lock into place, filming on Run All Night should start shooting in the autumn.
