The BAFTA Awards will be handed out next month, and while the vast majority of the winner selection is via the academy members, there is one award voted for by you, the public. This year's nominees for the EE BAFTA Rising Star Award have been announced and on the list are Black Panther's Letitia Wright, Sorry To Bother You's Lakeith Stanfield, Widows' Cynthia Erivo, Barry Keoghan of American Animals and Jessie Buckley, star of Wild Rose.
Selected for showing "truly outstanding talent on the big screen in the past year and capturing the imagination of both the public and film industry," the nominees are a truly deserving and nicely diverse crop, vying for an award that last year was won by Wright's fellow Panther performer Daniel Kaluuya.
Joanna Lumley is on host duties again for the BAFTAs, which will take place on 10 February at the Royal Albert Hall. You can vote for the Rising Star Award right here.
