Even bigger duels for Episode III

The steady trickle of information about the very last Star Wars film has been picking up of late and, despite the two years we still have to wait, we at Empire Online are (perhaps predictably) very excited indeed. Producer Rick McCallum has been logging on to the official site with news that everyone's favourite feature of the franchise - lightsaber fights, in case you were wondering - will find its heyday in Episode III. "Ep III definitively has the most light-saber action of any Star Wars film," he said. "The battles will be on an even larger scale." It's not much to go on we confess but if they can top the three-way fight that was the undisputed high point of The Phantom Menace then we'll take our collective hats off to George Lucas and lie prostrate outside the gates of Skywalker Ranch. "[Episode III] will take place three years or so after Episode II," continued McCallum. "I do believe Ep III will bridge the gap and answer most all of the unanswered questions. I think it's much more of a fun, adventure feel. Although, of course, Anakin turning into Vader is pretty intense." Thanks to Sci-Fi.com.
