British director Sean Ellis, who nabbed an Oscar nomination for last year’s short Cashback, has grabbed the cash from French production company Gaumont to kick off shooting his second feature (the first was a feature-length adaptation of Cashback).
Psychological horror The Broken will star The Brothers Grimm's Lena Headey as a woman who sees what she thinks is a double of herself driving in her own car. From there, her life becomes a rush of terror and suspicion.
Also starring are Ulrich Thomsen, Michelle Duncan, Asier Newman and Six Feet Under's Richard Jenkins. Ellis is currently filming the movie in London.
