Security guards, particularly if they work for Group 4, seem to get a bad reputation. Consider The Take’s Felix Delgado, a mild-mannered cash truck guard who is caught in the middle of a heist. Not only does he suffer serious psychological trauma following the crime, he’s also suspected by the FBI of being the man behind it… Talk about a bad day.
John Leguizamo will play the fictional Delgado, with Tyrese Gibson and – screech alert – Rosie Perez also joining the cast. Screenwriting team Josh and Jonas Pate, most recently seen running failed US sci fi show Surface have penned the script, and Brad Furman stars directing in LA next month.
