Despite high hopes on Disney's part, 2010's Tron: Legacy didn't exactly breathe new life into the adventures on the Grid. Though has been speculation, a follow-up remains more vaporware than real. Now, though, thanks to a Lego fan, [the company's Ideas series will bring out a Light Cycle play set.

Yes, it seems like a long time between the film's release and this arriving, but the fan-suggested set had to wait for the usual approval process before getting to the actual reality point. And while we will see figures based on Sam Flynn (Garett Hedlund), Quorra (Olivia Wilde) and Rinzler (Anis Cheurfa), Jeff Bridges' beardy Kevin Flynn has not made it to the set.

Still, we do get a couple of cycles, and accessories such as identity discs, and if the set sells, maybe that will encourage Lego to make more. It'll be on sale on 31 March, priced £30.
