You probably already knowwe’re not big fans of the name changethat Zack Snyder’s 3D animated owl epic **Guardians Of Ga’Hoole **has undergone. But while we’re stuck with the new name – Legend Of The Guardians – we liked the look of the film when we saw a few scenes and now you can get a look at the animated avians yourself.
USA Today has the first pictures from the film up and they show off the lush CG ‘toon look of the film, which manages to be both intriguing and easy on the eyes.

Snyder has also talked a little about the movie, adapted from Kathryn Lasky’s series, which follows young owl Soren (Jim Sturgess), kidnapped from his family by the birds of St Aggie’s an academy dedicated to creating soldiers in a battle against the peaceful owls of Ga’Hoole.
Just don’t expect lots of blood and guts in the fight: "There are a lot of intense themes in the books," Snyder says. "Scenes that might not seem so intense on the written page but would be too much on screen. We wanted to pull back a little. We wanted a beautiful, computer-generated, 3-D world the kids had never seen before."
